Three ways to get to the Resort...

Depending on your timeframe & Adventure level may determine what your plans may be.

The resort will arrange travel from local airports for our guests. Remember the resort is secluded and can only be reached by Water taxi or Helicopter, enhancing the feel of a tropical island. Lying halfway between the Belizean border to the north and the dusty city of Puerto Barrios to the south, it could take anywhere from 45 minutes to eight hours to get to Livingston. If you have time, take it.

The Water Taxi service is very scenic and will include land travel from the airport to the ports, Puerto Barrios, Rio Dulce or Punta Gorda. The shuttle and water taxi are included in your stay. If you have your own plane or charter (PBR) is your best option. A surcharge will apply for helicopter or seaplane service.

1.The recommended commercial airport is La Mesa International in San Pedro Sula (SAP) from there

you can take helicopter or shuttle and water taxi out of Puerto Barrios to the resort .

Travel times: Helicopter 30 minutes (surcharge $100 per cpl )

Shuttle and water taxi 3 hrs (Complimentary)

2.Guatemala City (GUA) is another option but takes much longer and there is a surcharge of $200 USD for helicopter service but if you want more sightseeing along the way you might choose this airport to fly into. You have your choice of water taxi from Puerto Barrios or Rio Dulce, the Rio Dulce water taxis:

Helicopter 60 minutes (surcharge $200 per cpl)

Shuttle and water taxi 4-5 hrs depending on route (complimentary)

3. You may also choice to come through Belize City, this is the longest and most costly route but it you want to see Belize it may be worth it, great scuba and shopping .

Travel time: Water taxi service only Punta Gorda (complimentary)

What to pack!

Nothing! lol Just kidding but pack light.

If you are not planning a hike,

then leave the heavy shoes and pants at home.

Flip flops

Sandals

One pair of 4 inch heals for those special times lol

but I recommend the platform wedges not heals

Sunscreen

Oh yes for those of you who do not tan where the sun Normally does not shine...this is a real eye opener the next day if not applied...OUCH!

Skin so soft-

This is the Caribbean and don't listen to anyone who says you may not get bit...be pre-pared....this stuff is the best. Call your Avon rep today if not I will have some at the resort.

Shorts or little sun dress-

for when you need to leave the resort, main dinning area, and sexy party nights at main restaurant Friday and Saturday. according to my husband that's one maybe two for the week., HA, I say two or four at the most for the week! Ya that's better

Sarongs -

both the men and the ladies love to wear these,

very versatile , sexy, easy access lol

Razors-

for those who like it trimmed

Lotions -

Well you know what for!

Please bring your own protection as all people are different & have likes, dislikes, sensitivities, and so on..You don't want to get caught without a condom ... Play safe.

Any toiletries you need

We do supply towels for rooms and poolside, robes and upon request irons and boards, hair dryers, laundry services are also available.
